The best of both worlds

Marlston House offers a broad-based education where ambition is encouraged and girls are able to achieve their personal best.

Girls may join our flourishing Pre-prep department from rising three.  Single-sex education in the core academic subjects starts from the age of six years but gives way to co-education in the arts and extra-curricular classes so that the best of both worlds can be experienced by the pupils.

Girls are prepared for entry to leading public schools at either 11+ or 13+ and sit either the Common Entrance or Scholarship examinations.

Together with our twin school, Brockhurst, we combine a clear philosophy of traditional education with being highly innovative. Our facilities are among the best in the sector and our newly-opened Learning Development Centre is the most recent manifestation of our determination to continually improve the education we offer.
